Therapeutic Garden and Rural Craft Centre
An independent charity located in the Vale of the White Horse, providing activities that promote recovery for people who experience significant mental health difficulties
Located on an organic farm in the beautiful Vale of the White Horse, we provide a wide range of therapeutic and creative activities, including gardening, woodworking, rural crafts and cookery.
These hands-on experiences help people rebuild self-esteem, rediscover purpose and move confidently towards the next stage of their journey.
We are an independent charity, part-funded by the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership, and one of eight recovery groups across Oxfordshire under the umbrella organisation Restore. We also welcome participants from neighbouring Wiltshire and the Borough of Swindon.
Compassion, inclusivity and respect are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where participants can grow in confidence through learning, friendship and shared experience.
Our vision is for people experiencing mental health challenges to feel empowered to live fulfilling lives with meaning and purpose — rebuilding confidence, self-worth and hope for the future.
We also believe in a society that is understanding, inclusive and free from judgement towards those experiencing mental health difficulties.
